NEHS Service

Aligning with our motto, service is an important duty NEHS members have to fulfill. Members get to choose among our interactive programs, Adopt a Grandparent and Penpals Arounds the World.

Requirements

The service hour requirement is 7 hours for the 2023-2024 school year. These hours are fulfilled by attending various NEHS events throughout the year and attending to your assigned service sector.

Adopt a Grandparent

Connect with the elderly in your community by visiting retirement homes and creating meaningful relationships between members of our community. Virtual options are available as well.

Penpals Around the World

Bring the world closer together one letter at a time by exchanging words with students from France, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine, Democratic Republic of the Congo, China, Morocco, and Portugal.
